My name is Shawnie i am the founder and creator of Producing Harmony. I come from the medical field working 5 plus years in Labor in delivery as a Technician. After the birth of my first child 7 years ago I came to the realization that not one person listened to my wants and needs during the process. I was completely ignored resulting in a birthing experience that wasn’t my own but that of the medical professionals. From there i went on to train as a doula through Childbirth International where i have assisted in over 25 births, and have given postpartum care to over 10 families.
