I have been passionate about serving children and their families for over 27 years! My education consists of a Christian high school education, a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education from a Theological College, certification of Early Childhood Development from Columbus State Community College and work in Child/Adolescent Psychology from Ohio University. I have had the pleasure of serving in roles as an early childhood development teacher for special needs children, an elementary school principal, an infant/child care center owner and manager, a certified home health aide, and a spiritual counselor. I have assisted with births since 2004 and have been a lactation coach/trainer for 8 years prior to becoming a Professional Doula. I believe in being a holistic Doula because I believe childbirth can be peaceful, empowering and that every woman should feel satisfied with her birth experience.
