I’ve been in love with birth since childhood! My mom had home births, and I grew up participating in prenatal appointments and watching the births of my five siblings.
I’ve been a nurse since 2010 with experience in several labor and delivery units caring for low and high risk pregnancies. I became a Certified Nurse Midwife in 2017 and worked in a birth center and then a hospital practice.
I strongly believe everyone deserves choices in providers and place of birth. Birth is a normal life event that rarely needs intervention in healthy pregnancies. My role as a midwife is to protect the normalcy of pregnancy and birth. My goal is to help you maintain optimal health during your pregnancy and intervene only when necessary.
This means extended & intimate prenatal visits, being on call for you starting at 37 weeks, labor support in the familiarity of your home, and a minimum of three postpartum visits.
